2/20/23 - Barn Door
Part of the vision for the master bedroom and bathroom has been the door between the two. I formulated the plan for a barn door. Using the planking and lumber that we have reclaimed from the house as we have been demolishing, I set aside pieces that I thought went together. I ordered the hardware online and set time aside to build the door, and it all went together like planned. Once the prep work had been done, building and sanding the door only took about two hours. The install was a bit challenging because, due to the plumbing and door frame, the studs in that wall are not 16 inches apart as is standard. I needed to make some adjustments. Once made, the door is perfect, quiet and beautiful.
Not much new with the goats right now. We will all be happier when winter starts to end.
