2/15/23 - Bathroom Door

It is hard to admit. We have had a functioning bathroom for many months, but no door. Not sure how to explain how we have got along, but suffice to say, this isn’t the only reason we have not had company.

It is winter on the Oregon coast and our progress has slowed. The dreary weather makes it hard to stay motivated. We have also had lots of things distracting away from the work on the house. The next month we will tuck in and make some good progress. So stay tuned for updates on the new goat house, the west room and the daybed in the south room.

This door has taken many hours of work to be repurposed. We removed it, and the door frame, and set it aside in the demo, my Mom, Judi, worked striping the paint, Karin sanded and sanded, I worked on the frame and the hardware and we were finally able to reinstall it.

Sometimes the goats are all cute and stuff, but as soon as I start taking pictures they freeze up. So I try to sneak up on them, but they are fickle.

And since I have not posted much recently here is a bonus video of Pan (Baby) eating in the hillside.
