9/30/23 - Cabinets

Mid-Summer Karin asked me to set a deadline for finishing the kitchen. I worked it out and told her I would be able to have a functional kitchen for her by the end of September. At a couple points late in the summer it felt like I would get done way earlier, and at a couple points it seemed like I would never get done in September. In the end, we made it by the deadline. The floors and walls are done, the appliances are in and usable, the cabinets are assembled and the sink is mounted temporarily, but the counters are plywood. The kitchen is usable but the final countertops have been delayed a couple weeks. We have fetched boxes from storage and Karin is unpacking and making it her own.

So, we also took a couple beats to enjoy that we live on the Oregon coast. The lead picture for this post is from a recent morning in front of the house, and this picture is us pondering the ocean.

It seems like there are many videos of the goats eating, but that is just what they do.
