9/17/23 - Flooring & Furniture

Once the walls were done I got right to work on the flooring for the main room in the house. It is SO much different than when we started. The main room is open and flows well, and will be so much more comfortable when there is furniture filling the space. (keep reading)

Shortly after the flooring was complete our friends Brent & Amy came for a visit. Their visit was motivation to enjoy what the coast has to offer. We went crabbing in Netarts Bay and had a great afternoon, as you can see.

Then they further motivated us to use our company to get shit done! They helped us move the fridge from the garage into the new kitchen space, which was a major undertaking that included building a ramp on the front of the house. And we drove to our storage in Tillamook to fetch furniture that will make the space more comfortable. Again, we are blessed to have help and care from those we love. Thank you friends!

And while there is work to be done, sometimes it takes the goats to remind us to relax and enjoy the ride.
