9/10/23 - Finished Drywall

There has been a long time between posts. Mostly that is because we are moving really fast and making progress in huge strides. And we have been getting lots of help from friends and family. Our daughter Kasey came for a long weekend and helped with hours of taping, mudding and sanding. Messy, tedious and hard work, but very satisfying when you finish. I could not have finished without her help. Then my parents, Judi & Dave, came for a visit and helped paint the whole kitchen. All help that moves the project forward faster. Thank you for all your help! It means so much to us.

Then there are also small things that we are learning to appreciate about living on the Oregon coast. Blackberries, while they are a menace to be managed, also provide a crop to be harvested. And while we were too overwhelmed last year to take advantage, this year we made up for it and picked tons.

And our companions continue to help in the way that they are gifted.
