8/30/22 - Roof 1 of 4

The new roof is a process and will take multiple posts to share. This is the start. While I was gone to Alaska Karin, with help from Kasey and Ali, started tearing shingles off. When I got back we kept after it and got as much of the roofing off as we could before the roofers came. And as always it was an adventure.

And I didn’t intend to offer any tutorials, or for these videos to have any educational value, but our roof is interesting. So, look at the different layers.

And to add interest, the shingles we are tearing off are over 100 years old. A. F. Coats Lumber was in business from 1905 to 1910.

And, I don’t have any new goat videos at the moment, so here is an old one.
