5/11/22 - Every Day Forward

So I intend to post about each week, or about that often, but time slips away and it is hard to be disciplined about writing when there are so many projects. So here are some highlights of the things that have happened since we got the goats.

There have been few dry days, but when they are dry we try to get outside. I was able to work on the beginning of retaining walls by the driveway.

And another dry day Karin worked building a raised bed and planting a garden outside the kitchen.

We put fence around it so the goats or other critters won’t get at it. Digging in the dirt brings joy.

We also have continued to work inside. The demo has moved out into other parts of the house. I started working upstairs and discovered some interesting things behind the walls.

And Karin worked tearing cabinets and shelves out in the utility room and pantry. Here is what it looked like before.

She is a beast!

It has been a lot. Every day forward. Some days less visible, or less satisfying, or frustrating, but still forward.

And,… there are still goats. never a dull moment.
