4/15/23 - New Goat House
As I mentioned in my last post, the kids (not the goats) helped get the roof on the new goat house. That was a tremendous help, and was the hardest part of the project. Once the roof was on, I used the left over roofing from the house to make the goat house match the big house. It turned out great. Then I built the bunk for the goats out of the pallets from their temporary pen, and added a loft. They can play or rest in the “upstairs” of their bunk, which they get up to by climbing the wall and stepping onto the roof of their bunk.
The goats have been more adventurous and have been really making a big dent in the hillside. Not that the neighbors would notice.
