OF COURSE IT RAINED!?! What a major disappointment to shore things up, hope for the best, and have the worst happen. When the roofers arrived, and while they are working, we have moved the travel trailer that is our home to the county campground 3 miles up the road. We left after the roofers on Friday hoping for the best, and woke the next morning to fresh rain. We really didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at the house the next morning. It turned out to be pretty major.

Every room in the house was wet in some way, and it seemed devastating, but in the end we were able to clean things up and dry things out fairly well. And our roofers arrived with an industrial dehumidifier to make sure everything was completely dried out. It all was fine in the end.

In times of struggle, there are always things to lift your spirits. As the rain cleared, windows we ordered many weeks ago finally arrived and until we can install them we will need them to be beside the house.

This is a great curiosity for the goats.
